Alcheon is my most recently created character. He's been blind since birth, having been born with bilateral anophthalmia. This means he was born without any eyes at all, so he often wears prosthetic eyes. His hearing is normal. He inherited a gene from his family that gives him perfect pitch, which some of his siblings have as well. He does audio engineering work, being expert in physical audio setup, acoustics, and blind-accessible digital audio workstations.
Blindness isn't his only disability. Before he moved to a more urban area, in which car travel is less prioritized, he was hit by a car doing an unprotected left turn. This left him with an injured bladder; he otherwise made a full recovery. As such, he wears diapers both day and night.
He is married to his wife Givette, a muscular otter several inches taller than he is. Together, they have a daughter.
